Panelisation of the facade

Panelisation of the facade is taking the unitized construction to the next level in terms of size, interfaces and integration of systems. There maybe more than one system arrangement in a single panel being assembled in the factory.

Windows are fitted into a precast concrete opening or a studwall in the factory and hose tested already. More often it is seen that modular facade arrangment of repeating penalised geometry come together on such facade projects. These facades are lifted into place and connected to the primary or secondary structure.
The logistics and manufacturing capabilities are a challenge on these projects which needs to be engaged at early design stages within supply chain.
